Very nice car in need of finishing. All the hard work is done. Chassis and axles are completely rebuilt. Engine was rebuilt professionally as well. All chrome work has been done. New wheels in stock ready painted with matching hubcaps. This will make a lovely car. LHD. W 136. Photo's don't do this car any justice. Some extra's such as special luggage rack available. The car is getting very close to finishing. It is booked in for an MOT this week. Everything on the car is now done to original spec. The upholstry still needs to be done but the proper material is in stock. Headlining is done and installed and slowly but surely the car is getting near full restoration. Now all done and with the new set of correct bumpers. MOT and taxed and of course a pleasure to drive. July 25-26, 2009 on its second official outing at Silvertone Classics. Although I trailored the car for its 600 mile journey just to be on the safe side, I shouldn't have worried for the car drove like a dream and after the saturday I took it for a long late night drive around Northamptonshire and whether I drove at 30 mph or even 70 mph (rare for these cars) it drove all very comfortable. May 2010: It's first official outing was to a local club gathering at Cragside in Northumberland, which gave me a good opportunity for some nice photographs with good backgrounds.
Nice original RHD MB 200 with the 230 engine. Looks to be complete. Good candidate for restoration. 1935 car on British papers. Front grille got damaged but I will include new mesh and a replacement grille surround.
It is a closed cab firebrigade support vehicle. At the rear there is lots of equipment. There is a 220V generator that can power the 2 huge spotlight/searchlights and other things. There is also a petrol driven pump that can pump water out of a stream (the pipes are stored on the running boards). Lots of other smaller interesting items such as tools, etc. All of the WW II period. The vehicle drives nicely and is restored. Entered in the 2009 Mercedes Benz Club Concours event. Class winner. Comes complete with trailer, lots of extras (a long list). Very unusual to find it all in this condition.
